The TUNNEL washers are based on the ” pass-through ” principleand are designed for continous operation jobs and high productivity requirements. They are normally employed in the production lines for cleaning parts either in batch or dingly with the same output of the machining centre in the fully automated lines. Due to their flexibility the TUNNEL washers can be used for high production output, as in the automative industry, but also for limited production in the small and medium industry .

The system is mostly used with water base detergents but, for some applications, also with non-halogenated hydrocarbons.

The TUNNEL washers can be configurated for one-stage or multi stages applications, for interprocess or for precision cleaning with drying and protection of the workpieces. The process can be designed according to the requirements also using specific techniques . the drying can be done by ” air knife “, hot ventilation or infrared rays. The construction is based on a structure containing the conveyor, the tanks, the spray and the drying systems. A wide range of conveyors offers, pratically , limitless applications: continuous or indexing motion, belt or chain type, for single parts or baskets or pallets . Conveyors designed for specific parts are also available. All the functions are controlled by PLC.
